Oxymoronic

I started working with this idea of visual oxymorons, which evolved into this montage. So frequently we come across false emotion and misunderstood beauty that I began to play around with the ideas of human behaviour clashing with common oxymoron phrases.

'Clearly Misunderstood' was where I began. It was the idea of beauty or art that we could easily misread or judge without looking closer. You can let your mind play around with what could have been a mistake on a wall and turn it into art. Or you could see a person with unique beauty that you originally hadn't noticed before.

'Honestly Lying'
is showing what we do so often in times of heartache. Put up a wall and go on as though we had never been hurt.

'Pretty Ugly'
depicts the classic window to our soul (haha). Our eyes show everything, and though you could be the most beautiful outside, if your eyes show that you are dead and empty inside, your pretty damn ugly.

And that is as deep as I can manage without making you all (as well as myself!) cringe and throw your computer at the wall! I promise more fun and regular April silliness next time! :)

Enjoy the rough and new concept!... I will keep evolving this idea!

Cheers my loves!

April
